Carrie Marie Stalder


Carrie Marie Stalder, 87, of South Vienna died at 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Community Hospital.

She was born April 25, 1920 in Johnson County, Kentucky to Ralph and Virginia (Blair) Pickleseimer.

Carrie was very active in Buckeye Trails Girl Scout Council.

She is survived by four children and spouses, Larry Wheeler, South Vienna, Dottie (Rusty) Zumwalt, Hamilton, Marilyn (Bradley) Porter, Mississippi and Cindy (Bruce) Porter, Springfield; one step-daughter, Sue (Jim) Beatty, California; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two brothers; one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leslie Wheeler in 1948 and Clarence Stalder in 1981, two brother and two sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in Rose Hill Burial Park.Burial will follow. CONROY FUNERAL HOME is handling the arrangements.
