Craig L. Shaffer


Craig L. Shaffer, 49, of Springfield, passed away at 2:39 AM Monday, November 17, 2008 in Community Hospital. He was born November 9, 1959 in Springfield, the son of Jerry L. and Jackie (King) Shaffer.

Craig was the owner of Elite Moving Services and had attended Central United Methodist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Kenton Ridge High School.

Survivors include the love of his life, his two daughters; Sierra Shaffer and Sequoia Shaffer, his parents; Jerry and Jackie Shaffer, one brother; Jerry W. (Cheryl) Shaffer all of Springfield, nephews; Blake (Tina) Shaffer, Jonathan Shaffer, niece; Heather Shaffer, great nephew; Landon Shaffer, dedicated employee and friend; Sean Fuller and best friend Art from California.

Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
