Anna J. Smallenbarger


Anna J. Smallenbarger, 85 of Springfield, Ohio passed away October 2, 2007 in Villa Springfield.

She was born in Washington Township in Scioto County, Ohio on May 31, 1922, the daughter of James B. and May (Rockwell)Wood. Anna retired as the department manager of the camera department for K-Mart. She was a member of the Troy United Methodist Church and the Troy Order of Eastern Star. Anna attended Shawnee University in Portsmouth, Ohio to further her education.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Douglas Edward Smallenbarger I; two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include one daughter Cindy Lane of Erie, PA.; one son and daughter in law Doug (Sylvia) Smallenbarger II of Springfield; two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
