James "Jim" F. Roseman


James "Jim" F. Roseman, 61, of Springfield passed away Sunday morning, April 29, 2007 in his residence.

He was born in Springfield on May 11, 1923, the son of Edward C. and Minnie (Moats) Budd.

He was born October 26, 1945 in Browntown, Tennessee, the son of Cletus Ray and Cleo Marie (Morgan) Roseman.

He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served our country proudly during the Vietnam War and was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1031. Jim enjoyed attending auctions and was the kind of man who never met a stranger. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife of 37 years, Carolyn (McIntire) Roseman of Springfield; two daughters and son-in-law, Bobbi and Brian Howser and Shannon Roseman, all of Springfield; one son and daughter-in-law, James II and Megan Roseman of Ypsilanti, Michigan; one sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Floyd guy of Sparta, Tennessee; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Arthur Raymond Roseman of Crossville, Tennessee, Riley Dale Roseman of Crossville, Tennessee and David and Gloria Roseman of Albemarle, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Cortney, Caitie, Chloe and Dakota Howser, James III and Jeffrey Roseman, Cory Jayjohn and Shaylee Roseman; and special friends, Jack and Dixie Cox.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors.
