Josephine K. Roberts


Josephine K. Roberts, 90, of Colorado, formerly of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in Arvada, Colorado.

She was born January 3, 1917 in Springfield, the daughter of Antony and Kasse (Bassmas) Gogas. Mrs. Roberts lived over 20 years in Florida and later moved to Colorado where she lived for four years.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in- law, Jack and Donna Roberts of Arvada, Colorado; one sister, Elizabeth Burkhardt of Springfield; one brother, George Gogas of Titusville, Florida; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Deacon Norm Horstman of St. Raphael Catholic Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
