George A. Reibold


George A. Reibold, 74, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Springfield, died August 24, 2008 in his residence. He was born September 5, 1933 in Springfield, OH to Frank and Anna (Preller) Reibold.

George retired in 1998 as a quality assurance engineer with SPECO after 27 years of service. He was a former member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, the K of C # 624 and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Catherine Wirkner, Springfield, Mary (Richard) Murphy, Sarasota, FL, Betty (Bill) Tucker, Trotwood, OH; a brother, John (Barbara) Reibold, Bethel Park, PA; a sister in law, Carolyn Reibold, Springfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by a brother, Robert Reibold.

Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Catholic Central High School Foundation.
