Glenn A. Ray, 51, of Springfield died Sunday, February 10, 2008.

He was born August 13, 1956 in Springfield the son of Russell L. and Mildred (Burbeck) Ray.

Glenn was a Certified Welder and Fabricator and worked in construction all his life.

He is survived by his mother of Springfield; two children Jeremy and Michelle Ray of Boston, Massachsetts; three brothers Ralph (Arlene) Ray, and Tom Ray of Springfield, and Fred (Rose) Ray of Mechanicsburg; three sisters Linda (Jerry) McClintock and Patricia Rosales of Springfield, and Sandra (Harry) Gersh of Ormond Beach, Florida; a favorite nephew Josh; nieces and nephews, Lisa, Angela, Stacy, Misty, Mandy, Corey, Sonya, Sarah, Jason and Jamie; his special friend Kathy Miller; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother Russell E. Ray; three nephews David and Ryan Ray, and Steven Rosales.

Friends may call Thursday from 1-2 PM. in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Sue Grim officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
