Guadalupe Jose Ramirez


Guadalupe Jose Ramirez, 80, of Springfield, passed away at 4:40 pm Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in Mercy Medical Center.

He was born May 3, 1928, in San Patricio County, Texas, the son of Benito and Eliza Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez had been employed at Scarff Nursery.

Survivors include two children; Diana (Jack) Frost and David Ramirez all of Springfield, one sister Mary Lopez and two brothers; Eliseo Ramos and Ed Lara all of Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit with the family from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
