Frederick W. Rickman Jr.


Frederick W. Rickman Jr., 62 of Springfield passed away Sunday, July 20, 2008 in the VA Medical Center.

He was born in Springfield, Ohio February 5, 1946 a son of Frederick and Katherine (Hickman) Rickman Sr.

Frederick retired from Bright Stripe after many years of service and honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his memory two sons; Eric (Joanne) Rickman of Springfield, Ohio and Rashad Rickman Jones of Houston, Texas, a daughter; Ranisha Rickman Jones of Springfield, Ohio, three sisters; Shirley (Crystal) Ellis of Toledo, Ohio, Debra Lattimore and Vicky Rickman both of Springfield, Ohio, two grandchildren Jasmine and Raya and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Ferncliff Cemetery on Soldiers Mound. Arrangements are provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home
