John E. "Johneddie" Payne


John E. "Johneddie" Payne, 50, passed away at 10:58 PM Friday, December 21, 2007 in Dayspring Healthcare Center.

He was born May 7, 1957 in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of John and Cynthia (Hall) Payne.

Mr. Payne attended the Berean Baptist Temple and had been employed as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife Sherry ( Campbell) Payne, Fairborn, his mother Cynthia of Washington Township, two daughters Jessica ( Carlos) Linder, New Carlisle and Stephanie (Jason) Hofmann of Fairborn, two grandchildren; Wyatt and Grace, one sister Donna ( John) Keefe, Washington Township, one nephew Douglas Keefe and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Lonnie Bocook officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia.
