Herbert H. Park II


Herbert H. Park II, of Springfield, passed away at 9:05 PM Thursday, September 13, 2007 in Community Hospital.

He was born March 9, 1945 in Springfield, the son of Herbert H. and Florence (Menda) Park. Mr. Park was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church and had been a member of the Army Reserves. He was retired form the City of Springfield.

Survivors include his Mother of Springfield, one son Shayn Park of Springifield, two grandchildren: Kori Park of Illinois and Kristina Park of Springfield, one sister Angie Eros, sister in law Delores Park, brother in law and sister in law and best friends Ann and Ron McCoy all of Springfield, mother in law Thelma Pierron of Circleville and numerous nieces, nephews, in laws and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Jean Park in 2002 and his father.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Father Dennis Caylor officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston.
