Elsie Rose Polly
Elsie Rose Polly, 62, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 in the Castle Knoll Nursing Home.
She was born July 25, 1944 in Mount Holly, Ohio, the daughter of Earl and Ethel (Moore) Lucas.
Rose enjoyed having fun with friends, bowling, and playing cards. She always loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and caring grandmother.
Rose leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Deb Smith of Springfield; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Patrick Walls and David Jordan, both of Florida, and Norman and Elizabeth Polly of Texas; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Charlotte and bill Fry of Springfield, Carol and Todd Rapp of Springfield, and Shirley Moore of Xenia; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Ron Lucas of Springfield, Jimmy and Nancy Lucas of Mt. Sterling, Lloyd and Debbie Lucas of Enon, and Alvin Lucas of California; five grandchildren, Amber, Rebecca, and Megan Smith, Jonathan Walls and Bryce Polly; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Charles Lucas; and one aunt, Elsie Moore.
Memorial services will be held Friday, April 20, 2007 at 7 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
