Harold E. Nuckles


Harold E. Nuckles, 62, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Tuesday October 21, 2008. He was born September 8, 1946 in Troy, Ohio the son of the late Alex, Sr. & Edith (Schaefer) Nuckles.

He was a heavy equipment mechanic retiring after 35 years from Hill Top Basic Resources, West Carrolton, Ohio. He enjoyed drawing, yard sales, auctions and NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Brenda; a son, Tony Nuckles of New Carlisle; a daughter, Tammy & Michael Resnicky of Springfield, Ohio; two granddaughters, Courtney & Ashley who was the love of his life; a brother, Alex, Jr. & Patricia Nuckles of Tipp City, Ohio; two sisters, Waneta Bonner, Geneva & Andrew Turner all of Davenport, Florida; a brother, Donald & Kathryn Nuckles of Huber Heights, Ohio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Melvin Nuckles; sisters, Dorothy Wallace & Elizabeth Marelich; brother, Howard Nuckles.

A gathering of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday October 26, 2008 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Brenda Nuckles for the Harold Nuckles Memorial Fund at any Security National Bank.
