Cynthia Ann Moughey


Cynthia Ann Mougey found peace and went home on November 17, 2007, after a long struggle with Cancer.

Cindy was born in Springfield, Ohio on November 9, 1952.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents Charles J. and Marlenne A. McCarty.

She is survived by her faithful and loving husband of 19 years Jeffery S. Mougey, two sons; Charles S. and Angela McCarty, Christopher S. Patton and Tammy Hatmaker and honorary son Rob Myers, sisters; Nancy M. and Frank Turnmire and Jeri Pruitt, brothers; Daniel J. and Juanita McCarty and David C. and Cynthia McCarty, grandchildren; Joey and James McCarty, Christopher, Craig and Willow Patton, Garret Sowers and Trevor Hoagland, Best Friend of 35 years Diane Moses, Special friends and caregivers Teresa Duncan, Berth Turnmire, Amy Maxton and David Ray.

Cindy was a graduate of Tecumseh High School, a business owner of Blimpie Subs and Affordable Insurance. Cindy also was a bus driver for the Springfield City Schools. Remaining family members include Licker, Doodle Bug, Sassy, Spanky, Emily and Bruiser who will all miss her, and was preceded by Chopper and Zipper who have taken the journey with her.

Special thanks to Community Hospital 4 South Nursing Staff and Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Tuesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Edward Dungan of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospital Hospice.
