Larry E. "Triple L" Lyons


Larry E. "Triple L" Lyons, 56 of Springfield, passed away at 9:50 PM Thursday, October 4, 2007.

He was born April 28, 1951 in Paintsville, Kentucky, the son of Robert DeWitt and Oreta (Lyons) Fee. He attended the Springfield Enterprise Baptist Church and was a member of the Harley Owners Group "HOG". Larry was retired from Navistar International.

Survivors include his father Robert DeWitt of Springfield, sisters Robin G. DeWitt (Mike Ouellette) of Springfield, and Patricia A. (Brian) Sells, of Urbana, a brother Daniel A. (Mickie) DeWitt of Springfield, one niece, four nephews, eight great nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 4 until 8 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday in the funeral home with Gary Grimm officiating. Additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Plattsburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
