Verna Jacquoline Kinder


Verna Jacquoline Kinder, 73, of Springfield, died Saturday May 5, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center. She was born March 16, 1934 in Trimble, Ohio, the daughter of Harry W. and Cora Verna (Smith) Kinder. She worked as a dietary aide at the Ohio Masonic Home for twenty-four years.

Survivors include two sisters, Mary E. Cunningham and Anna Jean McElfresh both of Springfield; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Janice Hill; two brothers, William Kinder and Charles Kinder.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday May 8, 2007 in LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Keith E. Sarver of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial will be in Federal Valley Cemetery in Amesville, Ohio.
