Janet Sue King


Janet Sue (Parrill) King, 70, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in her residence. She was born on February 22, 1938 in South Vienna, the daughter of Foster and Kathryn (Nagel) Parrill.

She is survived by three daughters: Annette (Jeff) DePriest, Dawn King, Elizabeth (Tim Hull) Roberts, and one son, Brian King, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two sisters: Patricia (Harry) Downing, and Kathryn Shipley, and one brother, William Ronald (Ethel) Parrill, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, seven brothers, granddaughter, Alisa Blair Roberts, and former husband and father of her children, Hugh A. King.

She enjoyed playing solitaire, watching golf, and working crossword puzzles. She was previously employed by Spring Print Paper Products and the Union Club.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 5-8:00 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME where services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in South Vienna Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Community Mercy Hospice, 1343 N. Fountain Blvd., Springfield, OH 45504. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. John Sutter, Dr. David Monjot, and the caregivers at Community Mercy Hospice.
