Frances Wilma Holmes


Frances Wilma Holmes, 90, of Springfield, passed away at 6:45 AM Thursday, December 20, 2007 in Villa Springfield.

She was born February 23, 1917 in South Charleston the daughter of George W. and Mable (Givens) Smith. Frances was retired from the Springfield Laundry.

Survivors include one brother and sister in law Luther and Lucy Smith, Springfield, and numerous nieces and nephews including special nieces Sandy Richmond and Judy Harville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eldon Homes, her parents and several brothers and sisters.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston . Burial will follow.

Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
