Carolyn (Lynn) Clegg Howell


Carolyn "Lynn" Clegg Howell, 74, of Springfield, died Tuesday evening, August 14, 2007 in the Ohio Masonic Home.

She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 19, 1932 the daughter of Joseph and Mary Stewart (Kelso) Clegg. Lynn retired from the California Department of Forestry Fire Department.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Stewart Trainer of Santa Rosa, California; husband, John W. Howell Jr.; daughter, Gail Sabille of Cameron, North Carolina; two step-daughters, Carolyn (Mike) Rollins of Springfield and Julia H. (Randall) Richardson of Reno, Nevada; five grandchildren, Jason, Cameron, Jessica Dewey, Kyle Brewer, and Erik Brewer; and four great grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Reagan, and Reese. She was preceded in death by her father.

A graveside funeral service will be held at Ferncliff Cemetery at the family's convenience.
