Anne E. Shea Hopkins


Hopkins, Anne E. Shea, 99, of Euclid, Ohio and formerly of Springfield died at 5:09 a.m. Sunday June 17, 2007 in Gateway Health Care Center, Euclid, Ohio.

She was born September 6, 1907 in Springfield the daughter of John F. and Mary E. (Kaliher) Souders. She retired from the Clark County Recorders Office after a number of years of service. She was a former member of St. Raphael Church.

Survivors include three children Suzanne Hastings, Euclid, Ohio, Jerry Shea, Denver, CO, Thomas Shea, Miami Beach, FL, fifteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Her first husband John Shea in 1941, second husband James P. Hopkins in 1976, daughter Nancy Cronley and a brother John F. Souders preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Conroy Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday St. Raphael Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Central High School.
