Paralee Grigsby


Paralee Grigsby, 82, of Clark County went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 19, 2007. She departed this life in her home surrounded by her family.

Paralee was born on February 20, on May 24, 2007.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Carley and Mike Spieker of Springfield; three sons and two daughters-in-law David A. and Kathy Grigsby of Seven Springs, North Carolina, Tim W. Grigsby, Jesse L. and Laura Grigsby all of Springfield; three brothers and sisters-in-law Carl and Patty Fugate of Jamestown, Donald and Betty Fugate of Alabama, Saul and Judy Fugate of Englewood; three sisters and two brothers-in-law Florence Adams of South Vienna, Sally and 1925 in Perry County, Kentucky the daughter of Jesse and Lucy (Brewer) Fugate. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Lawrence Grigsby on October 18, 1997 and her son Don Grigsby Dan Headley of Springfield, Juanita and Lindell Keeton of New Carlisle; many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, husband and son, she was preceded in death by three sisters Verta Creech, Dora Campbell and Geneva Robbins.

Paralee was a devoted wife, loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, quilting, cooking and going to church at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.

Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM. in the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church with Rev. Roy McIntosh officiating, Burial will be in Enon Cemetery. Paralee is now at rest, free from all pain, high on the mountain with her savior.
