Mary V. Dill Gilbert


Mary V. Dill Gilbert was gracefully and quietly lifted up to heaven's gates on October 11, 2007. And there Christ ushered her through the Pearly Gates to be with Him forevermore.

Mary, daughter of Perry and Armelia Emery Dill says so long to daughter; Norma Jean, son; Fred, sister; Willie Mae White, 11 grands and special grands; Debbie, Sandra and Irene Thompson, Fred Jr, Darryl, Pamela Fudge Redmond, Jacquelyn Fudge Gillum, Lucretia, Yvonne, Yvette and Rosalind Fudge, two sisters-in-law; Betty and Lillian Gilbert.

Mary greets her parents, husband; George, four sisters, nieces and nephews and a Hallelujah hello to her special friends; Betty Hawthorne, Janiel Nixon, Jimmie Stinnett and Carrie Ware.

Mt. Carmel Baptist Church takes part in the Home going tribute of Mother Gilbert on Sunday October 14, 2007 at the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. Visitation on Sunday will be from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home at 6 p.m. Interment will be Monday, October 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. in Ferncliff Cemetery.
