Mentol Gentry, 98 of Springfield, died at 12:45 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2007 in Southbrook Care Center.

She was born December 28, 1908 in Gadsden, Alabama to Sam and Alice Latham. She lived a very busy life and loved to work with numbers.

She is survived by a niece, Margaret Louise Hardnick, Cleveland; a nephew, Paul Latham, Dayton and a host of great nieces and nephews and friends.
