Jessie L. Geyer


Jessie L. Geyer, age 90, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 after a brief illness, at the Dayspring Care Center.

Jessie was employed by the Springfield City School System and retired from Fulton Elementary School in 1978. She was a member of the Highland United Church of Christ. She also enjoyed making crafts and was an avid reader.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Willis Geyer Sr.

Jessie is survived by her son Willis (Pierrette) Geyer Jr., grandchildren; W. Scott (Sarah) Geyer, James D. (Staci) Geyer, and Melynda Geyer, great-grandchildren; John, Justin and Ryan, sister Patricia (Dan) Uptegraff, several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call JACKSON LYTLE & INGLING WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME 2425 N. Limestone St. 6 to 8pm Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Where funeral service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, July 12, 2007 with Rev. Craig Fourman officiating. Burial to follow in the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
