William R. 'Bill' Fultz, Sr.


William R. "Bill" Fultz,Sr., 63, of Springfield died Monday, December 24, 2007 in Pathways/ Ohio Masonic Home after living more than a decade with Huntington's Disease.

He was born July 1, 1944 in Morehead, Kentucky the son of William Robert and Ethel Marie (Johnson) Fultz.

Mr. Fultz was a graduate of South High School and was a press operator and fork lift driver at International Harvester, retiring with thirty years service. He was a member of Beatty Free Will Baptist Church and had coached Little League Baseball and Youth Bowling.

He is survived by three children and their spouses Tammy L. and Doug Wallen of Mechanicsburg, William R., Jr. and Heather Fultz, and Preston Ripley of Springfield; six grandchildren Macy Maria Wallen, Tyler Keith Fultz and his mother Cheryl Fultz, Andrew William Fultz, Alec Matthew Fultz, Patrick Thomas Fultz and Shelby Jean Fultz; three sisters, his twin Norma Latham, Susie Duvall and Gladys Wilson, and a brother Johnny Duvall, all of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Connie J. Fultz in 2000 and son Bryan Keith Fultz in 2006.

Friends may call Friday from 12 noon until 2 PM. in RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 PM. in the Memorial Home with Pastor Steve Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Fultz's name to the Huntington's Disease Foundation in care of the funeral home.
