Mildred J. Flora


Mildred J. Flora, 87 of Springfield died Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Mercy Medical Center.

She was born in Washington Court House, Ohio on July 3, 1920, the daughter of William and Anna E. (Baldwin) Cutlip.

Mildred enjoyed being a seasonal employee at Wrens, working in the special delivery department at the post office and later in central supply at Community Hospital. Mildred's hobbies include making quilts and working outdoors in her yard and gardens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert F. Flora; three brothers Bud, Carroll, and Cecil Cutlip; two sisters Evelyn Lankford and Ruth Lucas.

Her survivors include one daughter Diana & Glenn Linger; one son Bob & Hope Flora both of Springfield; four grandchildren Christopher & Jeri Flora, Heather Flora, Matthew & Jennifer Linger, and Michael & Roya Linger; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call Sunday from 3-5 PM in the RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME. Services will be Monday at 1:30PM in the memorial home with pastor Rick Clos officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
