Kenneth Frazier


Kenneth "Kenny" Frazier, 69, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2008 with his family by his side after a long battle of Leukemia and Melanoma cancer.

Kenny was born on March 20, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana. He was the son of Nevel and Hester Frazier, both whom has preceded him in death.

Kenny served in the US Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He then worked for the city of Springfield and retired after 20 years of service. His hobbies included fishing with his family and friends and woodworking.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Elaine Frazier; together they had two children, Kenneth Martin II (Ruth) Frazier; Trudy (Mark) Jernigan; seven grandchildren Amanda, Mark Andrew, Aaron Jernigan; Ian, Eli, Noa, Abby Frazier all of Springfield; one brother, Gary Frazier of Tennessee one sister, Betty Gressinger of Florida; mother in law, Mary Penwell of Springfield; and many beloved nieces and nephews in Florida.

The Service will be held at 515 South Burnett Road, Springfield, Ohio at First Assembly of God on Saturday, August 9, at 1:00 pm. Vistation will be held at 12 (noon) until time of services.

Memorial contributions can be made to The Leukemia Foundation, Melanoma Foundation, or Hospice of Springfield. Arrangment are been held by JONES-KENNY-ZECHHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
