Jerry W. Fuson


Jerry W. Fuson, 70, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Saturday March 8, 2008 in Springfield Regional Medical Center - East High Campus.

He was born February 23, 1938 in Cammack, Indiana, the son of Charles and Neva (Livingood) Fuson.

He was a member of High Street Church of the Nazarene where he was a greeter and board member for many years. Jerry was a member of the National Association of Accountants and he had served as President. He was active in Work and Witness Trips and Emmaus.

Survivors include his loving wife Janice (Elfner) Fuson; son, Alan (Debora) Fuson of Cincinnati; two daughters and son-in-law, Cheryl Fuson of Springfield; Tammy (Eric) Sanderson of Columbus; four step-children, Gretchen (Steve) Barger of Springfield, Jeff (Peggy) Patterson of Archbold, Ohio, Wallace (Michele) Patterson of Xenia, Charles (Beth) Patterson of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Casey, Lauren, Victoria, Alexander, Elizabeth, Samuel, Sarah and Kara.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday in LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday March 12, 2008 in High Street Church of the Nazarene, 1625 East High Street, with Pastor Bret Layton, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Nehemiah Foundation or High Street Church of the Nazarene.
