Fitzgerald, Josephine A., 85, of Springfield, died at 9:25 p.m. Sunday October 7, 2007 in the I.O.O.F. Home.

She was born June 25, 1922 in Springfield, OH to Giovanni and Grace (Valentie) Cocca.

Josephine retired in 1982 as an accounts receivable clerk for Cooper-Cameron after 34 years of service.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sandra A. Ashley, Knoxville, TN and Janice L. (Glenn) Ealey, Springfield, OH; 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Eberhart and Michael Ealey; 4 sisters, Sue Offenbacher and Mary Grace Cocca, Springfield, Mary McCullagh, FL and Francis Issenmann, Dayton, OH; numerous nieces and nephews. A sister, Jenny Lubbers, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday in the Conroy Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. Dennis Caylor officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.

The family would also like to express their appreciation to the staff of the I.O.O.F. Home for the care given to their mother.
