June Isabelle (Kline) Farris


June Isabelle (Kline) Farris, of Springfield, went on to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2008. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for some time.

She was born September 1, 1924 in Clark County the daughter of John S. and Allie A. (Schneider) Kline.

June was a member of Bethel Baptist Church for 32 years and was retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 36 years of service. She was a member and officer for 18 years in the Daughters of America, the Fedelia Rebekah Lodge # 12 and a member of Ephriam Lodge # 146 IOOF.

Survivors include two brothers John S. Kline Jr. of South Vienna and Raymond M. Kline of Colorado, one sister Mary F. Waugh, and one sister in law Betty Kline of Tennessee, seventeen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

June was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jay D. Farris, brothers Richard E. Kline and Worthington Elwood Kline, sisters Josephine Marie Kline and Joann P. Reynolds and several aunts and uncles.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 5 until 8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Fetter officiating. Additional visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services in the church. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church in June's memory.
