Earl R. Foster


Earl R. Foster, age 73, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Earl was born on July 16, 1935 to the late Samuel Raymond and Laura Foster.

He retired as a gear specialist from Steel Products after 35 years of service.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; James, Denver, and Wayne Foster; and sisters, Opal Blair, Mildred Henson, and Betty Riber.

Earl is survived by his wife Judith Foster of 43 years; daughter Leann Murnahan of South Charleston; son Allen(Shawn)Foster of Madison, WI.; brother Harold Foster; grandchildren, Brittany Jenkins, Brant Murnahan, Maggie Foster, Kayla Foster, Tyler Foster, and Spencer Foster; and great-granddaughter Olivia Jenkins. Earl was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and was loved by all who knew him.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Family will receive friends half hour prior to the service. Rev. Joe Dillard officiating. Arrangements made by the JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME.

Memorial contributions may be given in Earl's memory to the Second Church of Christ in Christian Union.
