Teresa L. Palmer-Erdman


Teresa L. "Terri" Palmer-Erdman, 51, of Springfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday night in her residence.

She was born April 19, 1956 in Springfield to Paul E. and Betty (Cooper) Kuss. She had worked as a registered nurse for Mercy Medical Center for 23 years and was also a teacher of critical care nursing at Mercy. Terri was a member of The Journey Church.

She is survived by her father, Paul Kuss; husband of 14 years Fred Erdman, II; one son, Justin Palmer, Springfield; two brothers and spouses, Mike (Wendy) Kuss, Austin, Texas and Pat (Pam) Kuss, Springfield; four step-children and spouses, Jean Marie (Robert) Wagner, Fred (Natalie) Erdman, II, Gregory (Kathy) Erdman and Robert (Patricia) Erdman, all of Springfield; four step-grandchildren, Allen Erdman, Sarah Wagner, Anthony Erdman and Nicole Wagner and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty and stepmother, Jean Kuss.

Terri was a wonderful friend to many and loved by all.

Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. on Monday in the Conroy Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in The Journey Church/Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jamie Noel officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Justin Palmer, Mike and Pat Kuss, Fred, Greg and Robert Erdman and honorary pallbearer, Dr. Thales Pavlatos. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
