Lottie M. Campbell


Lottie M. Campbell, 90, of Springfield passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 in the Heartland of Urbana.

She was born April 4, 1917 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of William and Mazie (Vey) Mellinger.

She worked at Wrens' Department Store basement shoes for many years and was secretary for the architect John L. Kline.

Survivors include her daughter, Claudia J. Kelly of Springfield; two grandsons and their spouses, Michael G. (Evelyn) Kelly of Springfield and Robert L. (Elizabeth) Kelly of Cincinnati, Ohio; one great-grandson; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Horace Atwood Campbell in 1955.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
