Edna B. (Parks) Cork


Edna B.(Parks) Cork, died unexpectedly November 12, 2007 at Mercy Medical Center.

She was born December 18, 1927 and was formerly employed by Alber's in Springfield for 16 years.

Edna was an active member of the Beacon Street Church.

She is survived by one sister Gladys Parks, seven children; Frances (Clyde) Moyer, Linda Gantt, Louise (Randy) Clingman, Keith (Marcie) Cork, Karen Wheeland, Kathy Lowe, Kevin Cork, eight grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by George Cork and George Gantt.

Funeral services will be held in the Beacon Street Church Saturday, November 17, 2007 with viewing prior to the services beginning at 10:00 AM. Services will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, South Charleston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Edna's family. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
