Catherine R. Coil


Catherine R. Coil, 89, of South Solon, passed away Monday July 1, 2008 in her home.

She was born July 16, 1918, a daughter of John and Mary (Donahue) Sheerin in Madison County.

Catherine was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in South Charleston, and a member of the C.L.C.'s.

She is survived by children, Sam (Arlene) Coil, Tom Coil, Rick (Eileen) Coil and Nancy (Karl) Achterman; grandchildren, Julie (Van) Stickney, Michael Coil, Annie (Andy Montgomery) Coil, Sam (Sarah) Coil and Rachael Coil; great grandchildren, Heather and Brian Mehaffie, Laura Foster, Hunter, Christopher, Evan, and Lyla Coil and Mason Coil.

She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett "Bill" Coil; parents; grandchildren, Terrance Fostor, and Amy Shrout; nine siblings.

Visitation will be held from 5-8PM Friday July 4, 2008 in the INGLING WILLIAMS Funeral Home, South Charleston. Service will be held 10AM Saturday July 5, 2008 in the St. Charles Catholic Church, South Charleston. Burial to follow in South Solon Cemetery.
