Barry Christopher Clements


Barry Christopher Clements, 45, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in The Ohio State University Medical Center after a brief illness.

Barry a lifelong resident of Springfield was raised in his loving family's home. In his adult years he resided at Springview Developmental Center for 16 years until its closing. In the recent years he was fortunate to be in the care of "New Neighbors" in one of their group care homes in town. Barry was involved through the years with the TAC Industries where his development continued.

Barry is survived by his loving and dedicated mother, Peg Clements of Springfield; sister, Cindy Wright of Orlando FL; brother, Greg Clements of Chicago IL; aunt, Myra Carmosino; cousins, Todd, Blair, and Molly Carmosino; nieces, Brittany LePera and Ken Wright and nephew Tanner Wright.

Barry is preceded in death by his loving father Everett "Bud" Clements; grandparents Lawrence B. and May Melville and David K. and Inez B. Clements; uncle and aunt, Lawrence and Marilyn Melville; and uncle, Bernie Carmosino. Barry also was fortunate to have a number of caring aunts, uncles, and cousins in other states. Other important members of Barry's life were his New Neighbors housemates and caregivers, all of which were very much his family.

A private ceremony will be held by his immediate family. Friends may celebrate Barry's life by informally visiting with his family at Fifth Lutheran Church, 1331 S. High Street, Springfield OH 45505, on Saturday, December 8 between 2 and 4pm. In lieu of flowers a small donation may be made to Fifth Lutheran Church at the aforementioned address or to New Neighbors, 300 E. Auburn Ave Springfield OH 45505 in Barry's memory.

The family is being served by the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME.
