Anna Marie "Peggy" Claypool


Anna Marie "Peggy" Claypool, 75, of Springfield, passed away at Southbrook Care Center on Friday, March 7, 2008.

She was born January 17, 1933 in City Hospital, Springfield, the daughter of Jeanetta Stuckey (Creager) and later was adopted by now deceased Grandparents, Orville and Clara Stuckey.

Anna was a member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a grandson, Patrick Chitham of Columbus, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews, including her caretaker Robert Stuckey.

Anna was preceded in death by a daughter Diane Chitham ( Claypool), three sisters and four brothers of the Stuckey family.

Anna was a resident of 1707 East High Street for many years prior to requiring nursing care.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bill McKee officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
