James Dean Bond


James Dean Bond, Sr. 76, of Springfield, passed away at 6:20 AM Sunday, September 16, 2007 in Essex of Springfield.

He was born July 9, 1931 in Jackson, Tennessee the son of Granvill and Betsy (Ross) Bond. Mr. Bond was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean War. He was an avid fisherman. Mr. Bond was the former owner of Allied Fence Company and was retired from Dixie Distributing where he thought a lot of Mr. Harry DeNoon.

Survivors include one son James D. (Sue Ann) Bond Jr., Mechanicsburg, one daughter Carolyn Anne Agerter, of Springfield, grand children: Angie Thomas, David Ward, Matthew Agerter, James Bond III, Jesse Agerter, Andrew Agerter and Chelsea Bond, one great grand son Zach Thomas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Cathy Bond, a son Bambi Bond, three brothers, two sisters and his parents.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday September 18 at James Bond Jr.'s residence from 4 :00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Bond will be sadly missed and loved forever. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
