Hazel E. Bolen


Hazel E. Bolen, 95, of Springfield, passed away at 12:00 AM Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in Eaglewood Care Center.

She was born February 12, 1912 in Cuba, Ohio the daughter of Oren and Stella ( Frazier) Buchanan.

Survivors include two daughters; Lois Joann Smith and Sandra Y. Arnold, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren , twelve great great grandchildren, brother in law and sister in law Celia Ann and William Tingley, brother in law Austin Dewitt and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene K. Bolen, a daughter Marilyn Jean, a son Donald Eugene, four brothers, four sisters, one great grand son and her parents.

Friends may call in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME from 5 until 8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday in the funeral home with Elders Dale Rude and William Dillow officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
