Herbert "Tom" Barker, Sr.


Herbert "Tom" Barker, Sr., 59, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Monday November 19, 2007.

He was born November 13, 1948 in Blaine, Kentucky the son of the late Ernest & Grettie (Pelfrey) Barker.

He is survived by his wife, Judy; children, Herbert Jr., Jason, Ernest Barker, Renee Roberts, Michelle Thompson; grandson, Herbie & Zachary; six granddaughters, Jamie, Evie, Abby, Shaylee, Starr and Ashley; a brother, Billy Barker; sisters, Dorothy, Jessie, Wilma, Katherine, Fay and Hazel; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday November 24, 2007 at the Lake Avenue Christian Church with visitation one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made at Security National Bank or New Carlisle Federal. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
