Gracie Mae Bloomfield


Gracie Mae Bloomfield, 79, of Springfield, passed away Monday, October 22, 2007 in her residence.

She was born November 9, 1927 in Lewis County, Kentucky the daughter of Rush and Jennie (Turner) Bevins. Mrs. Bloomfield was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of God and was retied from Robbins and Myers.

Survivors include a son Robert Layne, Springfield, a daughter Debbie Crawford, Lewis County, Kentucky, six grand children, a brother Roscoe Bevins, Lewis County, Kentucky, two sisters Evelyn Wilson and Juanita Seitz both of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son James Walter Layne, two brothers Rev. Joseph Rolph and Harold Bevins and a sister Hazel Rolph.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor David Miller officiating. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
