Chester B. Blair


Chester B. Blair, 78, long time resident of Enon passed away Monday, July 16, 2007 in Dayton.

He was born April 20, 1929 in Kentucky to the late Walter Blair and Fanny Williams. Chester was a member of the Local 18 Operating Engineers.

He is survived by his wife of 55 ½ years, "Nina" Saraellen Blair, two daughters and a son-in-law, Tina and Gerald Shaw of Xenia, Gwenna Blair of Fairborn, a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Julie Blair of Enon, two sister, Mary Alice Jones and Nancy Ramey, a brother, Eldon Williams, five grandchildren; Alyssa, Carolyn, Christopher, Jeremy and Katie. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jean Bates and a brother, Winford Blair.

Funeral Service will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, July 19, 2007 in ADKINS FUNERAL HOME, Enon, with Pastor Bill Vine officiating. Entombment will follow the service in Rose Hill Burial Park. Family and friends may visit 5-8pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Donations may be made to an Alzheimer's association of your choice.
