Lawrence E. Abbott


Lawrence E. Abbptt. 89, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday January 19, 2011. He was born January 30, 1921 in Springfield the son of the late Lawrence A. & Violet (Switzer) Abbott.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and retired from Robbins & Myers. He was a member of the American Legion Post, Springfield and the North Hampton Community Church.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Abbott; two daughters, Betty & Steve Silver, Patricia & Forrest Hamilton; granddaughter, Barbara Haller; a sister, Mary Lemaster; other relatives and friends.

Private services at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio.
