John Walter Boyer


John Walter Boyer, 83, formerly of Springfield passed away Oct. 3, 2008 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born Dec. 1, 1924 in Springfield.

Preceded in death by his parents Walter Dunbar and Mary (McCurdy) Boyer and brother, Robert Boyer.

Survived by his wife of 60 years of Mary Patricia O'Brien and 9 children: Including Claire Boyer (Beavercreek, OH): sisters-in-law Peg McCarty, June Boyer and brother-in-law Rev. Paul A. O'Brien, MM: 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Teresa Catholic Church with visitation one-hour prior in the Church. Memorial donations to charity of your choice. Conroy Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
