Paul E. Pierce

PAUL E. PIERCE 91, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Saturday December 29, 2007.

He was born in Columbus, Ohio the son of the late Floyd & Bertha (Eberst) Pierce. He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Coast Guard and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, New Carlisle. He was the owner of Pierce’s Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge, AMC Jeep, New Carlisle and a member of the Miami Valley Bridge Association attaining the rank of Life Master. He was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by a daughter, Donna & Dennis Clark of Springfield, Ohio; a son, Phil Pierce and Jane Chaney of New Carlisle, Ohio; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helena Dare; and a brother, Harry Pierce.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday January 3, 2008 in the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in New Carlisle Cemetery.
